while i was driving lst night i got an flash on my dashbard , it said check your gauges so i took an 2nd look and the flash notice disappeared and vevered came back on , but i notice that my oil gauge is reading not in the center but highest 80 what can it be ?

it cold be the gauge or a sending unit causing that. i woldn't worry about it unless it goes to zero. You can always put a manual gauge on to see what the pressure actually ais.
