Leaking coolant?

Returning home from a short (3 mile) drive, I shut off the car and immediately smelled coolant. I saw a puddle form under the car. Popped the hood and saw that the reservoir was empty. Looked that over for signs of damage, nothing.

Filled the reservoir with water, started up car. Went back to check under the hood and saw steam in upper right hand corner. After a few minutes of poking around I saw that there is a hose missing.

Is this something I can fix myself?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

This appears to be the thermostat bypass hose. I attached the info on how to replace this.

Take a look at the attachments below and let us know if you have questions. Thanks
