air conditioner discharge and suction hose assembly line was severed and found a replacement part at salvage yard. when I replace this line is there anything I should b cautious of before I replace it. Is the freon now drained from the condenser? can I put freon/134r in after replacement?

change the dryer assembly as it is contaminated with moisture. then you can evacuate and charge the system
