2003 ford windstar 6 cyl , just had a new fuel pump put in and still will not start sometimes. Car cranks fine, just won't start, like it isn't getting gas? Don't know where to go next? Help

Thought the problem was the fuel pump so new one was just installed. Problem of not starting still happening. Car cranks strong, just will not start sometimes. Don't know where to go next? Help

It does start most of the time with out a problem. We just had a fuel pump put in thinking that was the problem, and so did the service station. But it did the same problem today with the new fuel pump in. Sometimes it starts ten minutes later and won't have the problem again for weeks.

Thanks for the info, will try your idea next time it happens. I am afraid for my daughter to drive it with the possibility of getting stuck somewhere. Thanks again.

certainly i do understand your situation as i have a daughter too. unfortuneately rhe only other option is to change parts but you still won't know if it fixes the prob for a few weeks. this problem will most likely get worse then it can be found.
