2003 ford windstar 1 misfire replaced plug and wires an erased the code and it come back on.

misfires can be any sensor, fuel problem and or basic engine problem.

Chances are the fuel injector is bad on the cylinder with the misfire codes, here is a guide to help explain more and I have included how to change the fuel injector out in the images below.
