2003 Ford Taurus Park Idling Operating Temp Only C On Car S Idle Rpm Drops

in park or when idling at operating temp and only with a/c on, car's idle RPM drops then returns to correct idle RPM alternately. A/C clutch also seems to have grinding sound when not engaged. (Not sure if related) I suspect IAC bad but, want second opinion. A/C issue being the sealed clutch bearing.

i agree. replace the iac and make sure you set base idle to 500 rpm with the connector unhooked
