Car is very slow to heat. Lukewarm when idle and only heats after running for about 15 minutes in drive.

My Taurus used to have great heat. Now all of a sudden it is very slow to heat. At first both hoses weren't getting hot, so I just had the thermostat replaced and a flush. Now it heats a little better, but still nothing like it did, or should. Not sure where to turn next. Any help would be awesome.

Car is a 2003 SE.

Feel the heater hoses, both should be hot to the touch, if only one is hot, the core needs to be backflushed. If both are hot, check the temperature blend door. If both are cold, and anti freeze and check thermostat.
