drives worse when the temp gauge goes down

you really need to redo this , but from what i can understand your oil pressure isn't right what you think. It's alwasy best to put a mechanical gauge on and check it that way first as the gauge could beoff or the sensor not working right. alot of times a cheap oil filter can do this as well. I don't understand the 2nd part of the question.

Hi thanks for the reply,I'll word it better the st170 has a oil pressure gauge and a oil temperature gauge the pressure is fine but the temperature rarely moves off cold,could this be a sensor problem if so would you know where to locate it? Cheers
