Lately when you start the car cold or hot it seems to be taking longer to start have pretty new plugs in it not time for new ones checked the gap a couple of weeks ago it is fine does any one have any thoughts

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first auto parts rent it.

One thing about 2.3L in a focus believe it or not it does not have a connection for a fuel pressure gauge

there is a Schrader valve to hook up a gauge on fuel rail. if not you'll need an adapter.
