I have been hearing a whistle sound for a while and what I understand the PCV hose that is behind the intake manifold could possibly be the vacuum leak I have been looking for, the car only cuts out at idle only, so does any one know how to check this hose it is in a place that is hard to get to.

the hose hooks to the throttle body under the mounting. it has a 90 degree bend. it is difficult to reach but you should be able to get your hand down there.
