Ford falcon wagon 2002 - when i turn the wheel it squeaks, the power steering oil is at the correct level

If this is an Australian falcon, first thing to do is check the power steering belt tension. if a serpentine belt ensure the auto tensioner is working and holding sufficient pressure on the belt, your mechanic can check this for you.
