2003 Ford F-150 Trouble with gaining speed. Shaking.

My 2003 Ford F-150 I struggling to get rpm past 1000. Speed gets to around 40 and truck begins to shake and speed slowly goes up while truck is shaking but Rpms stay around 1000-1500 area. On interstate struggles to get to 70 and 2000 rpm

How long since the engine was tuned up? What you described is typical of a misfire, commonly due to worn spark plugs.

And have not tunes the engine in a long time. So will have to try that and see
