When braking my 2003 F150 (57,000 miles), just before coming to a complete stop (slow speeds)the ABS engages / activates & the brake pedal goes to the floor. This happens every time when the vehicle comes to a normal stop. There are new rotors / pads on all wheels. There are no trouble / warning lights being displayed. The ABS sensor wires look in-tacked when visually checked, any ideas?

This will happen when one wheel sensor is not reading correct. If you have a scanner check all 3 speed sensors and look for the one that looks out of place.

Here is a video to show you how

Then check the toner wheel. Might have cracked or loose. Uneven air gaps will also do this. Check it out and let me know what you find.

Here is a guide to check and replace a wheel speed sensor so you can get the idea of what to do.

All 3 speed sensors & toner wheels check out okay at first. (did replace dvr front though, since it broke when being removed) ABS kicks in only when coming to a stop (when slowing between 5 & 10 mph). I double checked the right front and the reading was weak so I replaced it and that fixed the problem.

Thanks for you help this site is great.
