Once the car warms up, I will at a stop and the engine begins to idle roughly, sometime to the point of stalling. It seems to idle better if I put it in neutral.

It runs fine when I'm moving. I havent noticed any performance loss at speed.

Any idea what the source of this may be?

It could need a tune up, have a vacuum leak, a weak coil... If the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Also, check for vacuum leaks. Behind the throttle body is a vacuum hose that has a 90 degree bend in it. Check to make sure it isn't leaking. They dryrot and cause problems.
