why is my 2003 crown vic p71 stalling in drive and going smooth in reverse

my 2003 crown vic p71 stalls in drive but goes in reverse i just changed my trans and put 10qts in it befor i fixed the leak can anbody tell me what could be wrong

Check for bad engine mounts and cracked vacuum hoses. Going forward and reversing makes the engine tilt in different directions and the bad engine mounts can til to one side causing vacuum leaks, especially the air hoses, and this can result in erratic idling.
