I have a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and it has 102k miles on it and it has an transmission problem. Recently I noticed every time I excelerate in low gears my car tends to hesitate to excelerate up to 2 and 3 gears. And I notice that I have little leak in the middle of my car, located where the transmissions is located. Lately i've been searching on the internet trying to find problems other people are having just like me. I've found plenty that match my results. The fact is that they got their transmission rebuilt and the car is running "beautifully". But I want to know from you guys what is really the problem with my vehicle. I don't know whats the problem it could be the engine or something. Guys help me Please!!!

That is a good question. Can you tell where the leak is coming from? As far as the shifting problem, it could be a pressure issue, shift solenoid... If it isn't slipping, chances are it doesn't need rebuilt but rather, there is an electrical issue.

Yes, thank you.
I found out that it was my coil that got burnt. Ford had repaired it and got my spark plugs replaced. Now the car is running smoothly.
