Need the exact location of crankshaft position sensor for 2003 2.4 dohc engine. I cannot seem to locate.

Need the exact location of crankshaft position sensor

The crankshaft position sensor should be at the front of engine.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the air cleaner box
Loosen and relocate the starter motor,
Disconnect the electrical connector (crankshaft sensor - four cylinder).
Remove crankshaft sensor bolt.
Remove the crankshaft sensor.
Here are diagrams showing the location of the sensor for both the four and six cylinder engines. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
