I have a 2003 dodge ram truck it went out goin down the road and it tired to crank but want start it acts like it is out of gas so we replaced the foul pump and it acts like it wants to start but want

Fuel pumps that fail and leave you sitting on the side of the road is how GM pumps fail. Chrysler pumps will fail to start up when the brushes are worn from high mileage. I've never heard of one failing while you're driving.

Have you checked for spark? Have you read the diagnostic fault codes? Do you hear the hum of the fuel pump for one second after turning on the ignition switch?
