Transmission fluid would best be recommended

i have a 03 Ram 1500 2wd i drive it like its a 4wd and its heavy duty brother lookin into doin tranny tune-up/Inspection ...providing its ok what tranny fluid would best be recommended for my driving?

Only use what is recommended on the dipstick or the owners manual. I just looked it up. It calls for ATF+4 9602. Don't use anything other than that.

Heard Royal purple is a major step up compared to oe stuff..

It is a quality product, but make sure it meets or exceedes the ATF+4. If I recall, it is a synthetic oil. Check the bottle it comes in. Usually, they will list what it replaces.
