Why does my Dodge Ram 2500 cummin's heat up when I am stopped for a short period of time? The waterpump is not leaking and when I am stopped my ac gets warm too. thanks

There are several reasons it could be overheating;

the system pressure may be low

bad radiator cap

the fan may not be coming on

the temperature sensor has failed causing the above

the thermostat is partially stuck and won't open all the way
