Are you sure it's coming out of the valve itself and not a line or other component close by.

Thanks for the reply. Yes Im positive. The valve screw direct to master cylinder then brake line screw to valve. Had my wife press the brake and fluid squirt out of a weep hole in side of valve. I never seen this setup before. Two brake lines have this valve and two more lines without valve, all FOUR lines connect to master cylinder.

Valves aren't supposed to leak. If yours does and it's not a line problem, then you have a bad valve.

Guys I have the same exact experience but these valves are $70 each and I've already replaced the back drum breaks and master cylinder. I'm concerned throwing more money at it based on your answer above, "If yours does and it's not a line problem" that I'm going to go buy the valve and it does the same thing then it will be a "line problem." How can I diagnose correctly?

THANKS!

To determine why it is leaking (line or the valve), do a visual inspection of the threads on the line. Typically leak happens when there is any damage to the thread.

I have attached the brake proportioning valve replacement as well as testing procedure below.
The test can determine if the valve is bad.
Keep in mind that you will have to bleed the brake system after the replacement of the valve(s).

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
