My Dakota has no power.has a loud whistling noise, like a vacume leak.

Will only run about 35mph. I can hear air leaking from drivers side at firewall.but only when in drive and under power.

have the cat converter checked as it may be clogged not allowing the engine to breather.

Hey Theron!,
- It's a common problem, and probably yours. If you look around a little, there is a company online that sells replacement lower plenum plates 1/4" thick to prevent recurrence. Good luck! -Jeff.
