Is it possible to change a stabilizer link on a 2003 Dodge Dakota on the side of the road?

I have a 450km drive home from Vacation tomorrow and need to know if it shoulod fix this or if I can make it home.

Most older cars and trucks didn't even have anti-sway bars and links. Drive it as far as you want to before you replace the link. The body may tend to lean a little more on fast turns, that's all.
