I have a 2003 dodge dakota 4.7 w/120,000 miles. it is showing a p0442 code. I have changed the gas cap .If I clear the code it will show back up in within a couple days when I start the truck.What other part or parts could it be and location on vehicle.

Could be chacing your tail long time and spend lots $$$. Take in have smoke test done on EVAP it will find leak

Thanks for your quick reply. I was wishing for an easy fix on my own, but had a feeling it wouldn't be. What ever it is I don't think it is a major problem because the truck runs great! But would like to take care of it before it becomes a major problem.
