What is would cause a grinding noise in rear right wheel area, would it be the breaks or bearing and how do I tell Yesterday my van started grinding from rear right wheel area and seems to be getting worse,

If it just started all of a sudden I would check the rear brakes and see if there is any brake lining left. Start with wheel it sounds like it is coming from.
