My heat is only blowing cool air, the blower works fine and the van is not over heating.

When the engine is up to operating temp then check and see if both heater hoses to the heater core are too hot to touch under the hood. Let me know what you find?

I checked the heater hoses and both are hot, I can touch them but to hot to hold hand on. I also have checked the coolant level and checked for any leaks. Any other suggestions? One person told me to replace the cabin filter, which I plan on doing today.

Depending on where the cabin air filter is located that might make differences for effecting heat. But when they usually get that clogged up they will greatly effect the volume of air coming thru the vents into the cabin of the vechile. Its a good idea to check that though they can get pretty nasty.I would also move the temo **** from cold all the way to hot and mkae sure the blend/temp door is working correctly.
