how to disconnect the cruise from 2003 dodge caravan ?

hi! how are u?
i would like to know what's happiness to my van, it's hard to start when the weather cold i have to keep start over and over,when the car start up and it's show the cruise controll and stop running. that's why i woud like to know how i disconnect the cruise control.in the mupfler have a black smoke come up and smelling.after the car running, when get hot.the car run like new.i did change the new bateries and new starter, the old one i burn it because i keep turning to keep the car running.i bring to auto shop they tell me it's nothing wrong. but in the morning won't starts.

plese ! tell me what's wrong.

it's running too rich when you start it cold. thats why the black smoke. is your check engine light on? your engine temp sensor may be bad.

you may also have a wiring issue with underhood fusebox. corrosion by water or battery seepage.
