I was doing my brakes on the van. I was able to finish the front right side just fine. I started the front driver side and the top caliper bolt had broke. The bottom bolt looks as though it is kinda rounded. Is it possible to change the caliper pins an new bolts? Since the bottom caliper bolt is kinda rounded, how can I get it off? I would like a detailed description of the job. Thank you!!

uum best thing here is if youget the caliper off then remove the bolts but I don't think that will happen. we have no way of detailing as we all have different procedureswe use. for the rounded off bolt there is a socket made with roll pins that will grasp most rounded bolts. and for the broken one you'll have to heat an dcool before trying to get it off assuming the caliper is off. If you can remove item 2 from caliper and push piston back then put pads in then reinstall you can change pads that way but it still won't fix the problem
