how do you remove the passenger side half shaft

i am trying to rplace the half shaft and cv joint can not figurre out how to get the clip off the old shaft to reove it from the van

Hi:
I'm not sure what clip you are refering to. Have you already removed the ball joints and lowered the control arm? This is a bigger job. I just want to be sure I know what is going on.
