Just bought a 2003 Chrysler Sebring 3.0 2dr. Seller said in needed a timing belt. Started to install a new timing belt, but found out it already had a new belt in it. I shows sparks when turning over. Timing marks on both cams and crankshaft were ok for piston #1. It turns over but doesn't fire, it sounds like timing belt is broken, is not working at all.

Thanks!

Engine cranking, if you have spark at all the plugs, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Check cylinder compression. You didn't test drive the vehicle? You bought a vehicle that would not start and run?

Any applicable trouble codes, you may need to use an obd 2 code reader.
