My Chrysler Sebring has a ticking sound in the engine when it is running-what might the problem be?

You don't really think we can hear it over a computer? You're going to have to have someone listen to it. If it's relatively light and up high, suspect a hydraulic lash adjuster, (similar to a lifter). Check the oil level. If it is okay, it might be smart to have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge.

Fuel injectors make a clicking sound that you can hear with the hood open. That is normal, and you won't hear that inside the car. Other causes could include engine bearings, loose timing belt hitting the covers, even a small exhaust leak can sound like a click during acceleration.
