I replaced the head gasket timing belt and water pump after I was finished buttoned it all up I went to start it and the belt jumped 3 teeth well I didnt care for the new tentioner design in the timing belt kit so I just used the old tentioner reset the timing put it all back together now I am bnot getting any fire and while trying to decipher the problem I put power to something in the wrong way and cooked a computer so I now replaced the computer all my relays are working again but im back to square one on the fact that I am getting no spark. Went ahead and changed the crank sensor. Still no spark also I am getting codes p0340 and p0335.I checked for voltage and I dont have the 5 volts to the camshaft sensor im basically trying to see if I fouled something else up or if I have a break in a splice any help will be greatly appreciated?

I would say that you have either damaged the cam sensor or the harness or have the cam way out of alignment. Check the cam sensor and make sure it is not broken and is correctly plugged in.

I attempted to put 12 volts to the coil. The cams are alligned per specs and I am getting great compression I have however played with the timing and ajusted the belt to see if I get any change and I have not the reason I replaced the computer is because my relays were not activating they had lost ground after replacing the computer everything is functioning as it should starter relay asd etc. I have done some reading and is it possible that I can have te coil connecter and the cam sensor connector switched around? And would this make a difference if I did the car is 10 miles away at the moment so I cant check for sure til morning.

You really are to a point here you can do more harm than good, if you don't know what you are doing, I have to advise that you take it to a shop.

I got a computer from a junk yard and I am now have it at a 30 year mechanics shop and he seems to be sort of stumped and wants to dig into the wiring harness. What do you mean by flashed and what is the approximate cost?
