2003 Chrysler Pt Cruiser Had Car Less Than Year You Wouldn T Believe Problems

I have had car less than a year and you wouldn't believe the problems. Right now I know I need a new power steering pump as well as a transmission drip pan, however lately the car is kicking into gear, really bad for R 1st and I believe 2nd gear as well, 3rd and 4th gear sometimes seem to have less problems others won't switch at and if I stop and restart the car they work again Most the time the warmer the car is the better it shifts any ideas?

have a trans guy scan for codes and check fluid if you can it may need a trans oil change or and electrical problem
