Throttle Inlet Pressure (TIP) Sensor
Monitored & Set Conditions
DTC P1188: Throttle Inlet Pressure ( TIP ) SENSOR PERFORMANCE
This is monitored during the engine turbocharger boost and non-boost modes. In non-boost mode DTC will set when PCM detects a significant difference between TIP sensor signal and BARO pressure signal. In boost mode the DTC will set when the TIP sensor is unable to read correct boost level.
