Chevy Silverado 2500 H 2003 Vin. 1GCHK29113E122751 With a bad alternator, I am trying to decide whether to put a larger alternator on. It apparently came with a 105A and I am considering a 145 is this a good choice
I have 2 batteries & run quite a bit of accessory equipment

What size belt would I need if I change to a 145Amp alternator? Is it likely I need to change at all?

Usually the alternator will be the same size. You should be able to reuse the belt. Compare the 2 side by side so you will know. The belt tensioner will allow a different size if it is
