I trying to reprogram my key fob after changing the battery. thanks for any help

I tried reprograming the fob by holding down the unlock button and then turning the key on,off,on,off. Then holding both the unlock and lock buttons for 15 seconds. Nothing happened.

Have you cleaned the buttons inside the remote yet and the circuit board the buttons make contact to?Just use some tissues.They build up carbon etc making buttons inop you have to clean them every so often.

You could have a bad remote some of the auto parts stores have remote testers you can check all the button with them.Call around and test it.
