engine hesitates when accelerating, obc codes are PO171,PO174, PO300, PO101 and in that order on tool, does this mean that I need to change the Mass Air Sensor???? to correct this problem

codes never identify bad parts, just failed systems.

in your case, the 171, 174 are lean codes which could come from the mass air flow as is the 300 as well.

make sure there is no air leak from the mass air flow to the throttle body. if all is ok, yes, i would change the sensor.
