when i go to stop my brake pedal goes down farther than it should and it takes a further distance to stop i just put new pads on it two months ago the master cylinder is full it just started doing this a couple days ago what might be the problem

This is usually a good indication of a faulty master cylinder. But before you jump to replacing that, I would try to bleed the brakes to make sure there isn't any air pockets and blockages. Check all the brake lines, brake hoses, brake calipers and/or wheel cylinders for any kinks or leaks. If there isn't anything apparent, I would most likely suspect the master cylinder has gone bad.
