I have a 2003 Chev.Subrban making a noise in the left rear wheel. Its not very strong at this time, and only makes it once in a while when i'm driving it. What could it possible cause it?

Depends on what it sounds like. Could be a noisy wheel bearing but something related to the brakes would be more likely. See if you can hear it with the vehicle jacked up and running in gear.

If it's a knocking noise, be sure the lug nuts are tight.
