I have a leak on my front differential where the CV axles connect to front differential. I saw some videos on replacing the right side by removing the extension shaft but didn't find too much on the left side. Can I just remove the CV axle on the drivers side and replace the seal or is there more to it? 2003 Silverado 1500 Z71

On the drivers side six bolts on the inner joint flange are removed.on the passenger side the extension tube is removed. Sometimes the bearing behind the seal needs to be replaced, that requires a slide hammer with bearing removal attachment.
