2003 Chevrolet Silverado M Driving Along Sudden Truck Reduced Speed Pull Off

I'm driving along and all of sudden truck says reduced speed and i have to pull off and truck has to be turned off and i have to wait. sometimes it does it multiple times. Had it checked on the computer and they can never find anything wrong. I changed the gauges and still no success. PLEASE HELP IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS WRONG.

change gauges??? what gauges and why???

fly by wire system has an issue. either the throttle body or the pedal sensor is failing. turning it off and restarting re sets the system
