Hello,

The fuel pressure regulator is located On the end of the fuel rail where the lines attach. Couldn't find any real good pics of the location. See the diagram below, the regulator is on the end of the fuel rail where #3 attaches.

FUEL FILTER/FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
The fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator is located on the fuel feed pipe, between the fuel pump and the fuel injectors. The paper filter element traps particles in the fuel that may damage the fuel injection system. The fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator housing is made to withstand maximum fuel system pressure, exposure to fuel additives, and changes in temperature. Replace the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator if the filter is restricted.

The fuel pressure regulator is a diaphragm relief valve. The fuel pressure regulator maintains a constant pressure differential across the fuel injectors at all times. A software bias compensates the injector on-time because the fuel pressure regulator is not referenced to manifold vacuum. The injector pulse width varies with the signal from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Properly relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disengage the vacuum line from the pressure regulator.
If applicable, disengage the fuel line(s) from the regulator.
Remove the retaining bolts, then separate the regulator from the fuel rail assembly.

To install:

Install the regulator to the fuel rail and secure using the retaining bolts.
If applicable, engage the fuel line(s) to the regulator.
Engage the regulator vacuum hose.
Connect the negative battery cable, then pressurize the fuel system by cycling the ignition (without attempting to start the engine) and check for leaks.
