my code scanner reading evap system not ready even after driven it for 200 miles why wont it come ready

i cleared codes with code scanner was having problem with cat converter drove miles to bring ready every thing comes ready except evap system says evap system nt ready why

That is a good question. If it isn't ready, the only recourse you have is to drive it. If it still won't reset, you may have to have the computer flashed.

Just to add to this one did you ever try doing the drive cycle to reset it?The evap monitor sometimes just takes some time to reset the monitor.
