my 2003 chevy s10 makes a buzzing noise along with light smoke shooting out from the front end...what can this possibly be?

the white smoke may be coolant leaking onto the exaust system. the buzzing could be an alternator or tensioner/pulley. pull the belt off and start the car and see if it buzzes if it stops then it's something that the belt turns,
