I have a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and my driver's side door will not lock.

It will unlock, but it will not lock. Is the latch the problem? Or is it an actuator that's stuck?

That could be many things. The actuator could be bad, the switch or the Body Control Module. You will need a professional scan tool and someone very knowledgeable to diagnose it for you.
