if my gage works does that mean the temp sensor is working properly.also how do I check the pcm and where is it located on my car

a guage problem can be a few things, a bad dash, sending unit and or a short in wiring. a pro should check it . also why would you need to know where pcm is anyhow they dont' go bad that often and replacing it with out scanning the system is a waste of money and a pro has to install it to program it anyhow. see pic
