I have a PO401 check engine light on

Ive replaced the egr valve and the exhausted from the convertor back and drive it about 2 miles and the light comes back on

Did you thoroughly cleaned the ports? If os couls be wiring/computer problem

Which ports? Like where the egr goes into or the upper intake ports? Or could it be the convertor is plugged up with that many miles

Could be the Cat choking it off-the EGR valve ports
