dash gauges have all quit working

My 2003 Chevy Impala dash gauges have all quit working and the light alternates between service engine soon, battery, low fuel, and security. This causes the battery, which is new, to go dead.

Recharged battery and same thing is happening. About 2 weeks before this began, the driver door panel was removed, electric unplugged and then plugged back in and panel replaced. What could be causing this problem?

Sounds like you have a bad alternator have you had the alternator tested?Also have you had the battery tested and made sure the battery cables are clean and tight?
