my blinkers in my 2003 cavalier keep turning off what could be the problem

With intermittent issues, you have to test, when the problem is ongoing. Do they work at the moment? Where applicable, check bulbs and wiring circuits.

Hazard Signal switch assembly. I had same problem. If you turn the emergency flasher switch on and off, they will start working again. At least mine did. I went to Firestone and it cost me $338.00. OUCH!

If you do the work yourself, the only cost is the parts. Labor can be pricey.
