Installed a refurb long block and car wouldn't start. After troubleshooting and rechecking what I've done, I've discovered they put the wrong timing sprockets on. Can I just swap them out? Do I need to line things back up? Or is this going to be catastrophic.

You would need to line them up correctly after replacing the sprockets, failing which you would not be able to start and under worst case scenario, you stand to damage the engine.
